Another snowy story for you all today...
This story is Stickman ...  It is a story that the children have heard in class before the Christmas holidays.  Ask your child if they know who Stickman is?  Show them these pictures to help.  Do they remember anything from the story?
Sticks are possibly the most versatile play resource that nature ever invented.  These ideas do not even begin to cover the possibilities.
What can you do with the ends of a stick to make them more useful, interesting or exciting...?  Now there's a challenge!
We look forward to hearing what you do and find ...
An epic kids yoga adventure inspired by Disney's Frozen!. Join Jamie on an adventure in love and kindness ...

Numberblocks is a fun program on Cbeebies which we sometimes show to the children to help with learning about number.  There are lots of episodes and other programs that may be nice for the children to watch when they are at home.

Children in nursery making their own healthy sandwich.  Can you try to make yours at home?
At this time of year in Nursery we would play lots of listening games to help the children become ready for learning letter sounds.  Phonics Play has lots of games to help with this.  In Nursery we would start with Phase 1 and move on to Phase 2 when the children are ready.
