Information for Parents about online safety

Each school in the Federation has the Local Authority as their IT Service Provider.

Each school in the Federation uses ‘Smoothwall’ as their internet filtering. This blocks any undesirable websites.

Children are supervised when online and use approved apps, or videos that have been previously checked by staff. Sometimes staff support children to find out information, children are always supervised when doing this.

We talk to children about telling staff if they see something they don’t like.

Information for parents online to help keep their children safe can be found at www.internetmatters.org
